SA Quartet named for Africa Region 5

GolfRSA National Squad members Wilco Nienaber and Therion Nel from Free State, Ekurhuleni’s Jayden Schaper and Luca Filippi from Western Province have been tasked to continue the country’s proud record in the Africa Region 5 Golf Tournament in Namibia this April.

GolfRSA has announced a group of 19 of the country’s most promising amateur male players in the 2019/20 National Squad, including four new caps – Gauteng pair Amilkar Bhana and Kian Rose, Christiaan Burke from North West and Sam Simpson from Western Province.

Team SA seals 23rd Africa Region 5 title in Namibia

South Africa’s leading amateurs Wilco Nienaber, Luca Filippi, Jayden Schaper and Therion Nel completed a successful title defence in the 25th Africa Region 5 Golf Tournament in Namibia on Thursday.
